Ahmad Ali founded Trek Karakoram to share the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan with the world through guided treks across the Karakoram, Himalaya, and Hindukush. He leads the company’s vision and brand, with a focus on safe, authentic, locally led journeys.

Daniele Perillo serves as Honorary CEO of Trek Karakoram, supporting the company’s vision and long-term growth. He is a valued advocate for our mission of safe, authentic, locally led treks in the Karakoram.
Head Cook / Porter Lead
Aslam Khan leads the kitchen and porter team on Trek Karakoram’s expeditions, making sure every group is well fed and well supported on the trail. His work keeps camp life comfortable, so guests can enjoy the journey.
Operations Manager / Head of Expeditions
Muhammad Shahzad leads expedition operations at Trek Karakoram, handling permits, logistics, itineraries, and transport. He makes sure every trek runs safely, smoothly, and on time.
Safety & Logistics Coordinator
Etizaz Hassan coordinates safety planning and logistics for Trek Karakoram’s expeditions. He works to keep every group well prepared, supported, and on schedule from start to finish.
Client Relations / Booking Manager
Muhammad Shahzad is the first point of contact for Trek Karakoram’s guests, helping with inquiries, bookings, and trip planning. He makes sure every traveler feels supported from the first message to the last day of the trek.
Lead Guide / Head Mountain Guide
Imran Nadeem leads Trek Karakoram’s guided treks, bringing local knowledge of the Karakoram routes and a strong focus on guest safety. He makes sure every group is well guided and well looked after on the trail.
